The more things change...

Ok so its been a while since I've upload the latest.  I'll give you a quick rundown of what happened in time line formation.

2010


Jan 6th - started reworking my resume (kind of itching for change)

Jan 8th - resume polished, uploaded to monster.com, applied for about 41 positions (dallas, just to see)

Jan 12th - out of those 41 positions 4 companies called back and wanted to do preliminary interview over the phone.

Jan. 16th - Those 4 preliminary turned into 4 second interviews.

Jan 20th  - Those 4 produced 1 face-to-face meetings, and 2 second phone screenings.

Feb 4th - The 3 "second round" resulted with 2 companies advancing me to the final round of the process.

Feb 12th - The whole department at current employer unexpectedly laid off (including me).

Feb 14th - Flew to Dallas Tx.

Feb 15th - Met with Hanley Wood Inc. in Dallas, went extremely well.

Feb 16th - Met Achieve Global Consulting, went extremely well.

Feb 16th (evening) - Fly back to DC arrive at 9:30 PM.

Feb 17th (morning) - Meet with President of Hanley Wood Inc.  Downtown D.C. (9:00am Westin Hotel starbucks for 20 minutes)

Feb 17th (noon) - Offered Position from Hanley Wood Inc. (after President talked to sales team in Dallas).

Feb 17th (afternoon) - Offered position from Achieve Global  


Feb 18th (morning) - Sign offer letter from Hanley Wood Inc, declined position from Achieve Global.

Feb 19th - BREATH

Feb 27th - going away party

March 1st - 3rd  - drive home

March 16th - Start new job
